Haley is doing really good at jumping into the 5 ft. water and then swimming back to the edge. She still gets a little panicked at times so we have to make sure we are there to help her just in case. Karly is doing really good too, but she still needs some more practice before she is confident enough to swim on her own. Ashley loves to do her bobs under the water and float on her back. I am definitely going to sign them up again next year. I never took swim lessons and I am learning so much from watching my girls in their class. You guys should see me at the pool... I am over in the corner floating on my back, doing monkey/soldier/airplane (swim lesson lingo) and doing bobs under the water over and over. I can't get enough! (JK). I don't have one single picture of my girls swimming. I will need to fix that in the near future.
Here are some pictures from the month of June.

We went to Wheeler Farm one day and had lunch and looked at all of the cute animals.

We have gone to the park quite a few times and had lunch. That is always fun. :)
We went fishing a few times. We went up to Tibble Reservoir last week and it was so beautiful and not too far of a drive.
At the beginning of June I also got back in touch with some of my Snow college roommates and it has been so great! We had a little reunion a few weeks back and we laughed and talked for hours. I love those girls! I had my camera with me and I was so involved in talking and laughing that I didn't take one single picture. :( It's interesting how you can go years without seeing someone and then the next time you see them you pick up right where you left off. That is how it was with all of us. We all live fairly close to each other so we are planning on more get togethers in the future.
A couple of weeks ago my old roommate Karla, who lives in Nephi, invited us down for the day. We had such a great time! Karla is so hilarious and we can talk and laugh for hours. Her parents live in Nephi too and they are such great people. We spent the afternoon with them and I loved every minute of it. We are actually going down next week for a couple of days to go the the Ute Stampede in Nephi and spend the weekend with her and her family. We are so excited. I love getting back in touch with my old friends. My roommates were like family to me. We have so many wonderful memories that I always think back on. It was such a great time in my life that I cherish. Now our kids can play together and we can hang out with our families. It's crazy how much life can change is twelve years. (It's been twelve years since college? That's scary..)
Well now I am caught up to July. We had a BBQ at my sister-in-laws Jamie's house and lots of family came. It was a really fun night. We ate, visited and watched fireworks. I'm pretty sure the majority of you did the same thing. I love the 4th of July. I am thankful to live in this country and enjoy all of the blessings that come from that. "I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free," is running through my head right now. My Dad would just love that. He has a small hatred for patriotic country songs. (not that he isn't proud to be an American..) I was going to call him yesterday and serenade him with that song but I forgot. Maybe next year..
Happy Fourth of July!!
The kids had a great time playing. Whenever we get together they disappear downstairs or outside and can entertain themselves for hours.
So far this summer had been pretty awesome!
