Easter, Spring Break and overtime.

I have been wanting to do a blog about Easter but we were having issues with our computer so it has had to wait. Jake finally fixed it after much prodding/nagging from me. He doesn't realize that once you get behind in blogging it is hard to catch up.

Easter has came and went and it was quite eventful. The Easter Bunny brought way too much candy. Funny how he always brings my favorite things.. Chocolate, caramel, peanut butter. Maybe I need to tell him to bring candy that I don't like. That would be a good idea. Every time a holiday comes up my desire to eat healthy flies out the window. Dang those caramel cadbury eggs, reeses peanut butter eggs and Kitty Kats (Kit Kats) as Ashley calls them. :) Our Spring Break and Easter were really fun. We did the traditional things like dying eggs, Easter egg hunts, etc. We also had lots of family get togethers, went to the movies, slept in, Jake and I went on a date, and best of all a lot of down time. It was wonderful.

The girls in their Easter dresses. I had to literally peel Haley's dress off of her. She wanted to wear it to school and I was heartless and told her no.
I love how dyed Easter eggs look. They are so pretty. Maybe I will dye my eggs year round. Red white and blue for the 4th of July. Red, orange and gold for the fall. Red and Green for Christmas. That's it. I'm doing it.
Ashley on an Easter egg hunt at Grandma Debbie's house.
At that same party my sis-in-law Tiffany made the cutest cake and at the end of the night I noticed that someone decided to redecorate it with roast beef and deviled eggs. Hahahaha! Oh man, I love Jake's family. They are always good for a laugh. Me and Jake relaxing on Easter before he went to work. We read scriptures, sang some hymns. You know, the reverent things you should do on Easter Sunday. Ok, I'm lying. You can tell by the remote in Jake's hand. I had you going, didn't I?
Jake went back to work Friday night and he is still working. Two other foremen are out sick so he has been working tons of overtime. Overtime means two things around here: Number one- Extra money. AWESOME. Number 2. Stressed out Jake and Em. Not so awesome.
Can I just say that motherhood is hard! I have had a stressful week and my girls and I have been butting heads. Last night I was at my wits end. They kept fighting, they wouldn't listen and I was totally out of patience. I finally just broke down and had a good cry. I hate when I get to that point. The girls went to bed feeling really guilty for making me cry. Serves them right little turds. Just kidding. (not really) After they went to bed I was able to lay in bed and relax and regroup. Bedtime is a good thing my friends. It is so nice to have total peace and quiet at the end of the day. I told myself that tomorrow would be better. Today I woke up to a blue sky and the sun was out and I was feeling much better. I almost threw the front door open and broke into, "There is sunshine in my soul today," but I refrained. Jake would have chucked something at me. I have had a much better day. It's amazing what a little sunshine can do.

Camey,

Sadly, no. He is a foreman at Hexcel. It is a fiber company. I don't know if they are hiring, but it wouldn't hurt to put in an application. It is in West Valley. It is actually right by Bacchus Highway.
